A round brush (biggest that will fit on your hair) and blow it straight then use a silk smoother

If you blow dry your hair dont just blow it quickly to get it dry, do it in sections and always use a brush.

They sell brushes that are 2 sided and close together on your hair at Walmart or beauty stores that are good. I recommend that you always use a silk smooth treatment after your hair is dry.

Use a good conditioner intended for your hair type. Try using a round brush, and aim the flow from your dryer down, away from the roots. This will help the cuticle lie flat. Don't overdry your ends, and use a "serum" or sealer product. Don't overdo the mousses and hairsprays because many of these are drying. Ditto for coloring and perms or relaxers.

Another trick for wet weather, put a very small amount(maybe a little more than a pea) of conditioner in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together slightly then rub lightly on your hair, especially the ends. this helps seal your cuticles and keeps your hair from "frizzing" when the moisture hits it. I try to always wash my hair in the evening, let it dry by itself then style in the morning. Really helps with the dry and puffy thing.

after you shampoo and rinse, try this product called "Citri Shine" . it comes in a spray or a pump, the spray works really good. the pump does too, but i prefer the spray. just spray in your hair, but your hair in a towel for about 5 minutes and then blow dry or let it air dry. you will definitely notice the difference. it makes your hair softer and easier to brush when wet. and tangle free when dry. you can buy it at walmart for like 3 sometime 4 dollars.
