DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY DAY. i went to a hair dresser pratically in tears because my hair was sooooo dry. I dont blow dry it, dont dye it, dont straighten it. Turns out your hair makes natural oils that make your hair soft %26amp; i was one to take a shower everyday. Buy a shower cap %26amp; wash your body if you need to, but only wash your hair every other day.

Also go out %26amp; get John Freida syrum i'm not sure of the exact name but it comes in a very small purple glass bottle and i SWEAR by it, it makes my hair so so soft. Good luck !

any oganic shampoo works well, try one without sodium larul sulfate or anything that looks like sodium laural sulfate, those are too common chemicals that are baaaaad

alright!! relax!!! LOL the best advice i can give you is: stop shampooing!! i know it sounds bad, but its not!! shampoo has such strong soaps that strip your hair of its natural oils and moisture!! trust me!! your hair is prolly curly or wavey, so my advice is to : condition, condition, condition!!!! use conditioner in the shower instead of shampoo, and gently rub it in, leave it a few minutes than rinse with cool water, then you can use a wide tooth comb to detangle it, and some gel to scrunch it! i read all this on a website for ppl with curly frizzy hair, google "curly girl method" and you should get it. it's a book you can buy. I only shampoo like once a month or so, and the rest of the time i just condition it, and my curly hair is softer and smoother than ever!!

Go to JCPenney salon or any other salon that sells Redken. Smooth Down shampoo and conditioner is the BEST for very dry unruly hair. They even have a leave in conditioner that works very very good. It IS worth the bit of extra money to go with the professional brands,,,especially when you have dry hair. They have box sets on sale now,,for 18.95 @ JCP.
