Hair drying....ok?

I've heard that blow drying your hair daily causes hair damage. how true is this? how often shud i blow dry my hair? my hair is oily at the roots n dry at the ends.

just from the heat of it.

if you want to damage it less just put the heat on cool instead of warm or hot.

I have been blow drying my hair everyday for years and it's never been damaged. I'm always getting compliments on it... My hair is pretty much like yours, dry at the tips and oily at the roots...
