im a dude with curly hair and use 'DOO-GRO' products, my favorite is the moisturizing growth shampoo for curly hair and the Leav-In growth treatment. Also 'MixChicks' (you could look it up) is specially made for moisturizing curly hair

i also have curly hair but i do not flat iron cause it dries your hair i usually use coconut oil it works pretty well try it and good luck

try hair serum. I have really dry hair that frizzes like crazy if i do not use hair serum. It makes your hair look real smooth and practically naturally straight looking. I use pure shine polishing serum with silk protection when I straighten my hair. If you choose a hair serum, make sure it's Alcohol free as the alcohol will dry your hair out more....
