Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

I blow dried my hair with a blow dryer and now its full of static. How can I get rid of this static in my hair?

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

this'll sound funny but a dryer sheet works wonders on static. even in hair.

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

Hair smoothing serum. Works awesome!

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

hairspray if its really bad, if it ok just a little funnt looking, brush it for a long time

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

You could straighten it, but I don't recommend doing it too much, or it could damage your hair.

There are also products you could use, like any anti-frizzing stuff that your hair cutter or stylist recommends, or someone who knows what they are doing.

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

Use Redken smooth down serum.

Blow dried hair and now have static hair?

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

Ceramic straighteners don't harm your hair.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

less actually.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

No, it is better. If there is water involved then the hair is more protected and is less likley to get singed. But if you use a dry straightener, coat your hair with some type of grease first, this lessens the chance of burning and breaking.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

as long as u use a good thermal protector first it shouldnt make much difference

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

Absolutely not! I've been using that iron for a year now, and it not only does not harm my hair, but it gives it the best straightening I've ever had. It doesn't damage, my hair feels very soft and smooth. It takes alittle work, but it straightens very well and it lasts a long time. The hair also has a very shiny, silky look. Also, not having to blow dry saves time, and you can still use it on dry hair with great results. However if your hair is very curly, or difficult to straighten, try the maxi glide. It has pins on the iron like a brush that pull the hair straight much easier and quicker. Personally I like the results of the remington better, but I use both of them at different times depending on how I want my hair to look.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

wet2straight are ment to better if you dry your hair first - defeats the purpose a bit but heard it from a personal user

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

they are actually really bad for your hair any think hot can damage hair the best straighteners to use are ghd definitely

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

I would say it is very damaging and is no different to using ordinary straighteners are wet hair. Straightening wet hair with straighteners or tongs increases your chances of breakage.

I think someone has said that ceramics are not damaging to your hair but all heated appliances can cause damage to your hair. That's why it is important to always use heat protective products alongside using heated appliances.

I would say it's best to buy a really good ceramic straightener, eg GHD, and always use heat protective products when using any heated appliance in order to minmise damage. Also, try not to use your straighteners everyday, it's good to give the hair a break.

The official GHD site is www.ghdhair.com.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

Best to stay away from Remington. I'v bought one recently and within 2 months discovered it wasn't actually ceramic. The coating had worn away to reveal steel which really causes alot of damage. Best to go with GHD or read couple of reviews. I heard T3 straighteners are good.

Does a Remington Wet2Straight ceramic straightner damage your hair more then a dry straightner?

I have wet2straight %26amp; I find dry straighteners damage your hair more!! This is because wet2straight lock in moisture!!! Some people say they're just as bad or worse but I dont agree.

But actually its more the hairdryer that damages your hair, it drys it out a lot %26amp; can burn your scalp just as much as straighteners!!!

HTH xx

Is not drying my hair bad?

I heard that not blow drying or towel drying hair is bad for your hair, that it can cause split ends or damage your hair. Is that true, will I damage my hair if I just let it drip?

Is not drying my hair bad?

no, its better that you not dry it w/a blow dryer

thats actually what causes the split ends

and towel drying is acceptable as long as you BLOT, not rub the hair, because it causes major frizz. right now, drip drying it, its the healthiest thing you can do =)

Is not drying my hair bad?

no way not blow drying your hair will make it healthier. See the blow dryer drys up the natural oils in your hair and along with the heat causes massive split ends. I dont think towel drying makes a difference but by letting it drip your def. on the safe side!

Is not drying my hair bad?

actually its good that u dry ur hair naturally ..using tools can actually dry out ur hair too much...but i would at least towel dry it so u dont get ur floor wet!

Is not drying my hair bad?

No not at all whoever told you that has it backwards. The heat from the blow dryer is bad for your hair because it will cause heat damage. Let it air dry as you have been :)

Is not drying my hair bad?

huh??? not at all. blow drying is actually bad for you hair, same with towel drying.

Is not drying my hair bad?

You got it backwards. Feel free to air dry, although I'd advise against it in the winter (it can freeze--I've had it happen).

Is not drying my hair bad?

I think you heard that backwards ... the things you mentioned are bad for your hair and can cause split ends, letting it dry naturally is the best thing for it.

Is not drying my hair bad?

Absolutely not! Any time you use heat on your hair you damage it. From experience I know. It was recommended to me that at least once or twice a week I let my hair air dry, towel dry first!

Is not drying my hair bad?

Well... blow drying can damage if your hair if you use ALL the time and don't use certain products to rehydrate it. Towel drying is not bad for your hair. It doesn't damage or dehydrate your hair. I wouldn't suggest letting it drip just cuz it's messy!

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

Hi guys,

I have very dry hair and there is dandruff, I am very upset please guide me what shampoo will reduce dryness and dandruff?

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

head and shoulders, but it sounds like you wash your hair a lot. most shampoos are made to remove oils from your hair and oils are what give your hair shine and keeps your scalp from drying out. wash your hair every other day and use a good conditioner like garnier fructis. only use head and shoulders once a week and you hair will be dandruff free and shiny.

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

You should try "Head and Shoulders." It works really good with people that have dandruff and dry hair.

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

tea tree oil shampoo, the organic kind, its all natural

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

Hi Mr AZF,

i know what its like wanting to be dandruff free.try nizoral shampoo u can purchased with a prescription over the counter at pharmacies.head n shoulders works great too .changed ur brand of shampoo every 2 to 3 mths as it will tend to be immune to the same type over long periods.

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

I agree with the others that Head and Shoulders will help with the dandruff. I would also suggest getting a moisturizing shampoo. Dove moisturizing is one that I prefer that is cheap enough to use every day. Sometimes I use a more costly conditioner, such as Joico's KPAK, because my hair is naturally very dry.

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

go a nd have your thyroid checked.....

My hairs are very dry and there is dandruff what shampoo is best for me?

you should first use sulfur shampoo, you can get it at any hair store, then use a Redken shampoo and a Redken conditioner to restore the moisture in your hair. It works for me. I've tried Head n shoulders, nutrogena, tea tree oil, Nizoral, and this is the only thing that works for me. Also use a leave in conditioner after you finish wash your hair. You'll see a difference. Once every 2 weeks get a protein treatment at your local stylist or you can use V05'S deep conditioning treatment ( the 10 minute one come with a deep conditioning cap) and you will see results.

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good d

hair conditioner that will help nurse it back?

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

Go to your local Sallys, Ask the lady to get you a bottle of alphaGee conditioning ttreatment, Make sure its the one you do NOT have to sit under the dryer for, I PROMISE its a Miracle treatment!! I also suggest trimming it a little to get a little of the dead ends off.

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

Try the Dudley Cream Protein or just go in the Beauty Supply and look for a conditioner for color treated hair. Pantene Pro V and Tressemme` have a good line of products to choose from.

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

U could try using Tea Tree conditioner to nurse it back but it wont work well on damaged hair.so I suggest u get your split-ends chopped then use Paul Mitchell conditioner and leave in conditioner but make sure to wash and condition hair at least three times a week and when dying hair have a beautician dye it and if you do as told you should have lustrous hair in aboat six months good luck:)

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. I use to bleach my hair and it was so dry! I started using this and it feels so good now! It is really soft and just looks so much more healthy! The jar says to use it once a week and to leave it on for 3-5 min. I use it twice a week and leave it on for about 20 min.

Don't use Pantene. My brother does hair in Nashville and he told me they put something in their products that is put in floor wax (to give it that sleek and shiny look.)

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

Layer it and use Loreal color creme. it will make your hair softer than before you colored it. Then try using Volumax shampoo and conditioner. Too many products futher damage the hair, but these saved my hair.

I bleach my hair platinum blonde and its really dry and breaking can any one tell me a really good deep?

Alter Ego Garlic Conditioner. It is excellent! It smells incredible and this was the best solution for my dry hair. When I went to the stylist, this conditioner left me with so much extra moisture in my hair that it couldnt even hold a curl!

If I want a certained style that requires a curling iron, I can not use that conditioner. On rainy days, I can feel all of the extra moisture in my hair. It's incredible and my hair looks so healthy and just shines! It's very elastic as well. Also, it's a bit expensive (no more than $25) but worth it. Good luck to you.

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

Healthy hair tips:

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Neutrogena Triple Moisture, shampoo conditioner and deep recovery hair mask. It nourishes and

revitalizes dry dull damaged hair to softer shinier healthier hair everytime you wash it

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled and managable.

Comb your hair about 20 times each side so your natural oils can fall into the rest of your hair for natural shine

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week, Washing hair everyday strips the natural oils of your hair into duller dry hair.

Discontinue to heat style your hair or your hair will end up more dry/damaged, wait till it's completely healthy and maybe heat style once a week.

Avoid brushing hair while wet, gently use a wide tooth comb, hair is very vulnerable while wet and can break off easily.

Don't put your hair into pigtails, buns or ponytails while wet, that causes split ends, breakage and damage.

Deep condition twice a week to bring back moisture to your hair.

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks to promote healthy hair grow and prevent split ends from happening.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, not with your nails, nails damage the scalp and nails tend to be dirty. it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water to open the hair cuticles.

While conditioner leave on for about 2-4 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to help seal the hair cuticles.

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair because of the alchohol it contains.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If hair is really dry, go to the salon to get a deep treatment on your hair.

Once a month use a special deep conditioning treatment like olive oil, vitamin e oil, mayonaisse, eggs, hot oil treatment, castor oil, coconut oil almond oil or avocado.

Take multivimains, vitamin e, follic acid or prenatal vitamins to promote healthy hair growth.

Drink lots of water for shinier/healthier hair and eat lots of protein and healthy food like meat, milk, cheese, peanut butter, eggs pasta, cooked beans and raw vegetables.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

While combing hair, comb it gentle to avoid breakage.

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

use mayonnaise

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

if you have the resources, you can go to your nearest salon and have it relaxed or straightened. also, you can try having hot oil. it'll give you instant softness that will surely last.

or, if you want to solve this problem of yours just at home, you can have these:

a) put mayonnaise on your hair. let it stay there for quite some time then rinse WELL.

b.) get coconut oil then apply it on your hair. let it also stay there for quite some time and rinse well. it'll make your hair soft and manageable..

c.) or, there are hot oil products in the supermarket that can be at home..

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

Use a leave in conditioner once in week perhaps on a weekend.

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

I've always heard to use mayo. No joke!

Help! my hair is starting to dry, so what can i do to get it soft and smooth?

-Use weekly treatments or hair masks. These restore the moisture in your hair making it more soft and smooth and much less dry.

-Try using a shampoo that moistens your hair get ones for dry hair. -pantene is a bad example of this its like detergent to your hair (many hairstylests have told me this) and once i started using dove instead i noticed a very big difference in softness but you have to find a shampoo for dry hair that suits you.

-You need to get regular trims too so you don't get dry ends and its healthier for your hair.

-For a more natural treatment leave in olive oil in hair for 30 minutes then wash it out. Its natural oils are great for you hair.

-Also try lay off the hair straightener and blow drying and let your hair dry the natural way - these appliances damage and dry out your hair.

-Use sun protection for your hair in summer when your in the sun for a long time to protect it from getting wrecked in the sun.

I hope that helps

Good Luck!

xx.
