I have found that when my hair is really dry and damaged I like to use Head and shoulders for dry scalp. It seems to be good for dry hair. Very gentle as well!

there is this stuff called Kerastase that works wonders on dry hair, I bought some in and in a matter of days my hair was healthier than it has ever been, and I had really dry and brittle hair. It is a bit pricey but it is well worth the investment you can buy it here
