Use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner, use a leave in conditioner, get a trim every 10 to 12 weeks, keep it tied up as much as you can until the damaged parts grow out, don't rub it dry with a towel (squeeze gently with a towel only), be gentle when you brush it, dont bleach or lighten it, avoid blowdrying. It will take a long time but eventually the damaged parts will grow out and what comes in will be healthy.

get a deep conditioning treatment. get a hair cut to thin out all the bulk. use a moisturizing conditioner mostly on the ends of your hair, that will keep volume but help mange the curl. and use a curl activating cream with an anti- frizz serum and scrunch into your hair when damp

Getting damaged hair relaxed would only add to the problem. First work on getting it healthy. 1. Get ends trim. 2. Conditioner treatments ( moisturizer). Once healthy then look into getting relaxed.

if you have a sally beauty store near by get loreal natures therapy its abt 16oz and around 13 bucks use it once or twice a week leave it on for abt 20 to 30 mins with a hair twist and put a shower cap on.. you'll see the difference in a few weeks.. I also use a ceramic straightener so my hair doesnt look as dry or damaged... but if you deep condition religiously you'll see the results...
