For static in hair, take a very, very, small amount of a light conditioner or hand lotion and rub it through your dry hair. This will take out static. But remember a very small amount as you dont want it to look greasy. Really works well!

Constantly combing your hair while it's wet will lead to frizz when it's dry (as moisture is continuously being distributed throughout the strands), as will blow-drying your hair from the tip upwards. So if either of these sound like you, then that may be the problem.
Another factor is that your hair is simply rebelling from all the products. In this case, replace your conditioner with a hot oil treatment (Iike Vo5) every 2-3 weeks. Consider getting a trim to get rid of all of the dead ends (which could also account for frizz), and ask for a cut that will balance out the weight of your hair.
After doing these things, it should be much easier to manage your hair when applying your usual products. For quick static fixes, rub a fragrance-free dryer sheet through your hair :o)
