i thnk they fry your hair more than a normal straightener

and i also dont think they work that well

because my cousin had one and she says it doesnt work

so id invest in a good regular straightener instead of a wet/dry one

no they are actually the best type, i have one and my hair dresser recommended it, she said its the healthier for ur hair then thhe regular ones because of the steam it releases it moistens ur hair. So yea but then again all straighteners are bad if u use them all the time, so just dont use it A LOT! Mine works great and i have super thick hair so yea. And by the way it only cost like $ 60

i have one and i love it but if your hair is thicker you might have to go into the damp setting

just make sure you use a heat protection for any straightener you use.

but i barely ever use it to dry my hair

i think it will just fry it

oh and go to walmart to buy it

its only about 30$ there

Using any type of unnatural heat (hairdryers, flat irons, and curling irons) damage your hair. Wet to Dry straightners havent been proven to damage your hair more but common knowledge would suggest that it does. I use one and my hair is fine. So if you already blowdry flat iron or curl your hair your most likely not damaging you hair anymore and you are cutting time down from flat ironing your hair.
