Change from what you are using to Pravana Hydrating shampoo and conditioner. My hair grew alot after I started using it. Its more expensive but worth it and smells so good. Also dont wash your hair everyday. I have my salon order the large size for me so I dont have to buy it very often.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM--- GET YOUR HAIR CUT AT LEAST 1 INCH ( CUT OFF ALL THE DEAD,DRY,SPLIT ENDS ) CONDITION YOUR HAIR BUT LEAVE THE CONDITIONER IN YOUR HAIR FOR 1/2 TO 1 HOUR EACH TIME YOU WASH YOUR HAIR. THE BEST CONDITIONER I FOUND WAS LOREAL MEGA MOISTURE

ALSO TAKE A PRENATAL VITAMIN EVERY MORNING -- PRENATAL VITAMINS %26amp; MINERALS HAVE MORE VITAMINS THAN NORMAL ONES ( LIKE IRON, PROTEINS )

ALSO GET YOUR HAIR TRIMMED EVERY 4-6 WEEKS 1/4 - 1/2 IN.

IT KEEPS YOUR HAIR FREE OF SPLIT ENDS

Don't worry most of us have gone through this at some stage.

Gentle brush your hair before washing it. Use a very gentle shampoo, one that is designed for damaged hair o even baby shampoo. Any conditioner will do as all are almost the same, place a good bit on your hair and wrap it in plastic and then with a towel. This helps to keep our hair warm allowing the cuticles of your hair to open allowing more of the conditioner into the hair. Leave it on your head as long as possible.

When you have rinsed it don't rub your hair with the towel again wrap it up and just let the towel absorb the moisure. Carefully comb you hair section by section and take your time.

Get your hair regulary trimmed as the more damaged your hair is the more it will split and break off and it won't appear to grow.

Stop using products for a while.

Let your hair breathe, try washing your hair alternately. It's not icky or anything. Try this out first if you dont have anywhere to go, so that you dont feel uncomfortable. Dont was your hair in the evenings unless you feel that you're hair is really dirty. Let the natural oils set it. Let it breathe. This way, you also avoid split ends. However, if the weather is very cold, this will immently dry your hair, so.. only use products when you really need to.

Let your hair breath.

best advice i can give without knowing the cause is try shampooing with a mild shampoo once a week. Use a moisturising conditioner and a leave in or time release conditioner. Don't heat style unless you absolutely have to (The Guy or a wedding or something). i won't recommend a product because they are all different, and what works on my hair won't necessarily work on yours.

The best idea is to cut off all the dry %26amp; damaged hair and start again.

If not, you'll never have your hair in good condition.

I never used to go for regular cuts as I was trying to grow my hair, but I had alot of split ends, so I had a good few inches off one day then went every 6 weeks, my hair is in lovely condition now and its growing really quick.

Olive oil, jojoba oil or coconut oil (comes solid but melts on the skin)

Soak your hair in any of these. Wrap it up and leave it in overnight - using an old pillowcase to sleep on is good!

Next morning rinse it well and shampoo twice with baby shampoo. You might find you have to wash it more than once but if you use mild shampoo it doesnt strip the oils out so much.

I have very long hair and I do this about once a month - coconut oil is my favourite and it leaves my hair shiny and soft whatever its condition.

Best of luck

it will help using good shampoo's and conditioners

but what will be better is regular trims, it will grow about half an inch a month maybe a bit more in the summer

your diet will help as well, there is no magic solution so do not waste your money on products that state will make your hair grow faster because they won't

you neeeed to find out what is causing it to be dry and damaged otherwise you will never get any where .you may be overbrushing it ,or a colour may be too strong ,even twiddling it can damage it ,overdrying with a hairdryer .get it cut and ask the stylist for advise - once its broke it cant be fixed -damage limitation is all you can do
