I have really wild crazy curly hair, thick and bushie,dry.?

i do take care of it it just is like that i am going to get it fix but my hair dressers says she knows what she is doing but im not sure.I am going to get in starigeted so that it is really stairt but im afarid it will mess up my hair fovever. HELP!

There is one thing I would highly recommend doing at home before you consider straightening it. Buy some extra virgin olive oil and and rub it through all of your hair and let it sit on your head for as long as you can stand it (I usually leave mine in for a half hour to forty five minutes) then wash ONCE with shampoo and condition as usual. This will help tame your hair and helps keep it sleeker and shinier. You'll smell extra virgin while it is in, but that's gone once you wash it.

If your hair is really dry it is NOT a good time to have it straightened.... it can really damage your hair even if it's healthy and keep up treatments get really expensive! If you do decide to have it done go to a reputable salon and make sure you do some deep conditioning treatments once a week or so before you have it done.

Don't get it chemically straightened. Wash hair with lots of conditioning shampoo and conditioner, condition, of course, blow it out with blowdryer and brush, then go over lightly with a flat iron. Use grease, not gels or creams cause they'll frizz your hair right back up to moisturize occasionally. And only flat iron/wash once a week, otherwise it REALLY dries out your hair.

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.
