I had very dry, wavy, frizzy hair and I tried Bed Head Moisture Maniac and it worked very well.

infusium leave in conditioner works like a charm, spray and then untangle her hair using a wide tooth comb always going from the bottom up little pieces at a time try also a conditioner thats for dry hair and let it sit lor about 3 mins before rinsing

I actually had the same problem when I was younger. I would suggest using Tresemme shampoo for moisture, and I would use some of John Freida's Frizz Ease. Its serum, and it works wonderful. I only discovered his stright answer a few weeks ago, and that works well also. The other trick is purchasing a salong calibur straightening iron, it honestly makes the world of a difference!

Okay i have the same problome and the solution is to either spray a light conditioner or this might sound really weird but put a little bit of lotion on your hands and smooth it over her hair and that should tame it down.

My hair is very dry and frizzy, after a shower I take about a teaspoon of babyoil, rub it on my palms and comb it through my hair with my fingers. it dosn't really show in your hair, it just makes it a bit shiner. and it doesn't feel greasy.

What i do is when i get out of the shower in the morning i use any kind of leave in conditioner, and than i use a product called "surfer hair" in a little green bottle. I spray that on my hair while its damp, and when it dries it controls the curl and its not frizzy.

You can try giving her a hot oil treatment, and using LOTS of deep conditioner after shampooing. Then use "KIWI" oil (you can buy it @ WALMART) in the ethnic hair section. Put a little on the roots and ends. Using a hairdryer and brush, dry her hair. If you have a hair straightener, use that after the hair is dry. This should make her hair much nicer and easier to manage. If all else fails take her to the salon and ask for a relaxer. This won't completely remove her curl, but will make it much less harsh. use a good conditioner thats formulated for extra dry hair or try a leave in conditioner twice a week. Pantene for relaxed and color treated hair actualy works as a really good conditioner for normal dry hair. It will keep the hair from being dry without having to add extra products, and since she's 10 it wont be time consumo\ing for your or your daughter

I have had dry, frizzy, curly hair my whole life and my best suggestion to you is to get a book called "Curly Girl" by Lorraine Massey. It is my hair-care bible, and basically reccommends that curly girls do NOT wash their hair with shampoos that are high in detergents, as it make the hair even more dry/frizzy. (She actually recommends not using shampoo at all and has recipes for alternative methods of hair washing that use conditioner as a base.) Then, use some kind of water-based gel to keep the hair from frizzing after she gets out of the shower. Also, brush it as little as possible (basically, never) and don't touch it after the gel is in, as those things disturb the curl and make the hairs in the curl separate.

You might try using less shampoo, too much can cause harm because it strips out too many of the natural oils in her hair, causing it to be too dry. Also, if you leave some of the conditioner in, but not too much, it can help to reduce frizzy hair. If her hair is short, then growing it long will help with the curls. You don't have to buy all the expensive hair products, just try changing the amounts you use. Good luck.

My hair can get dry and fuzzy, so after I get out of the shower I towel dry my hair a bit, and once its almost dry I take about a quarter sized amount of regular pantene pro V conditioner and rub it into the ends of my hair, avoiding my roots.

Helps me alot. Keeps my hair shiny, knot free, conditioned and smelling nice.

well what i do with my hair is after i take a shower get a regular brush and a blow dryer and put my head down so that my hair drapes over my face and brush it with the blowdryer with my hair down. then flip ur head back up when all the wetness is out and put in serum for hair thats what works for me

I have very tight curly hair. I use Motions conditioner. You can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. It's about $10.00 a tub. I wash my hair, put this conditioner in it and cover it up with a platic bag. I let it sit for about twenty minutes. You also need to put a hot towel over the bag to keep it warm, it will make the hair absorb the conditioner better. I try to do this about once every week or two.

I use conditioner every day and lots of it too. I use two or three bottles of conditioner to one bottle of shampoo.

Also, go to Amazon or your local bookstore and pick up a copy of the book "The Curly Girl Handbook". If you have curly hair, this book is a life saver!

I would suggest not using heated styling tool very often. Even though flat irons make the hair more managable they damage the hair even more making frizz and dryness worse. If it is not too expensive Biolage ultra hydrating conditioner is a miracle worker. I would only shampoo about 2 to 3 times a week. Every other time she can just run a little conditioner through the ends and rinse. A little hair lotion or frizz remedy and air drying to fininsh.
