My hair does the same thing. So I use oil. Like Hot Six oil. It moisturizes my hair but unlike regular moisturizer that creamy and thick (something about it makes it wet). so yeah use the oil its light, and it doesnt hold your hair down! And personally, I think it last longer than moisturizer.
